Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the organization's business goals.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee the collection, integration, and validation of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Work with IT teams to implement and maintain data infrastructure and ensure data quality standards.
- Lead and manage a team of analysts, data scientists, and other analytics professionals.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to the team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Develop and implement an analytics framework that includes key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards to measure business performance.
- Ensure the alignment of analytics efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to extract valuable insights and trends.
- Present findings to key stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of business intelligence tools to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Stay updated on the latest BI technologies and recommend tools that align with organizational requirements.
- Implement systems for real-time monitoring of key metrics and performance indicators.
- Proactively identify issues or areas of improvement and provide recommendations to optimize business performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, operations, and IT, to understand their analytics needs and provide insights that support their initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies to maintain the security and integrity of data.
- Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of analytics processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Implement best practices for data analytics and champion a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in data analytics, with a focus on managerial or leadership roles.
- Strong proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about data and analytics in the context of business goals.
